The weather last Sunday wasn’t the best but the show still attracted around 400 cars, plus around 900 general spectators.
There were lots of positive comments about the quality of the cars entered, and the way the categories were set out to give more opportunities to win a trophy.
We also had a great band playing lots of Aussie Rock Classics.
Thanks to John Ternel’s new streamlined entry system and a large number of pre-entries the operation at the gates kept queues under control.
With the good attendance and some great sponsorship from Lumley Special Vehicles Insurance it looks like we have generated around $21,000 which we will be using to support local charities.
In other news it looks the Endeavour Men’s Shed may have the opportunity to take over a former Guide Hall on the Police Paddocks
